Hello cookies – Firstly welcome to jaz drizzle!

I thought I’d kick things off with a makeup review, the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner ($33). I actually bought the Midnight Magic Eyeliner Set ($29), which has a full size Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Midnight Blue and a sample size of the Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black. I’ve bought the full sized eyeliner before but I thought I would try a different product. Which I’d like to add was worth every dollar spent!

Overall, I am 100% content with this product – hence repurchasing it. It has great colour payoff, you definitely get the intense black colour. I also prefer felt-tip pen liners over the gel liners, it’s easy to work with and the formula doesn’t run and dries quickly (so you do have to be careful when applying). Another thing I like about this product is it doesn’t smudge especially when you’ve been sweating the whole day, it kinda just flakes off in a non-flaky way if that makes sense. And in terms of waterproof, I have tried using it at the beach and as I have mentioned it doesn’t smudge but it kinda just wipes off after an hour or so.

Aside from that the only problem I see with this product is when the tip of the pen starts fraying? Which gets annoying because then you can’t get those precise lines. I usually just cut the ends so that it’s a pointed tip again but it would be good if it didn’t do that in the first place.

Hot or Not

90° - if only the felt tip didn't fray so much it could've been perfect.

JASMINE'S
COOKING TIPS

#1

Look around, chances are the product are produced by many different brands. Expensive doesn't necessarily mean better.

#2

Research, research, research. Some products have different effects on people but it still helps getting background knowledge. Ask people you know and trust, they might have different skin tone/types but on products where that doesn't matter it helps to have an honest opinion/

#3

Try before you buy. Most places let you try something before you buy it. Or ask them to put it on you. You don't want to spend $100 on a product only to find it doesn't match your skintone.

#4

Know their return/exchange policies in the chance that you do get the wrong colour or the product isn't right for you cause it's just making you break out. You don't want to end up with $100 just sitting on your shelf wasting away.
