Hello cookies,

Have you ever struggled getting to sleep? For a while that was me. The stress from uni and working and juggling everything in my final semester was just too much and it got to the point where I'd be in bed tossing and turning till 3 in the morning. I looked onto non medicinal remedies most of which was useless (for me anyway). Then one day as I was online window shopping I stumbled upon the brand "This Works" and saw that they had a Deep Sleep Pillow Spray ($39) and my, my, did it look interesting. I read reviews and got so interested I decided to buy it. I went into the store to buy it and one of the sales assistants helped me out and talked to me about it and the store had actually just got a new product, the Sleep Plus+ Pillow Spray ($61) which has actually been "clinically tested" (stated on the box). And next thing you know I ended up buying that one (seriously, don't upsell to me cause I will most definitely say yes).

Moving on a year later, buying this spray was well worth the money spent. It definitely helps me get to sleep on those nights where I just feel wide awake. I kid you not I have the best, deepest sleeps. It has a mild lavender smell which is supposed to help calm and relax and the scent itself is not too overpowering. Another thing I found great about this product is a little goes a long way that even now I've barely even reached halfway in the bottle. The spray works in a kind of mist, so you're not getting balls of moisture but rather a spritz of the solution. Its also simple to use, just spray onto the pillow and prepare yourself for a wonderful slumber. I usually like to spray while I'm preparing myself for bed so that I've inhaled it and it just helps get you to that place.

Overall its a great and effective product, I would definitely repurchase again if I had sleeping problems (and ever finished the bottle). Although the price is a big setback it is definitely a better option than going out and buying sleeping pills. If you know home remedies don't work out for you. Another option could be buying the original version which is just over half the price at $39 and judging by reviews on other sites it seems effective but don't take my word for it – if you do try it let me know and maybe send me over your review and you could feature on my blog.

JASMINE'S
COOKING TIPS

#1

Look around, chances are the product are produced by many different brands. Expensive doesn't necessarily mean better.

#2

Research, research, research. Some products have different effects on people but it still helps getting background knowledge. Ask people you know and trust, they might have different skin tone/types but on products where that doesn't matter it helps to have an honest opinion/

#3

Try before you buy. Most places let you try something before you buy it. Or ask them to put it on you. You don't want to spend $100 on a product only to find it doesn't match your skintone.

#4

Know their return/exchange policies in the chance that you do get the wrong colour or the product isn't right for you cause it's just making you break out. You don't want to end up with $100 just sitting on your shelf wasting away.
